2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering binding contracts to use the Services. By using the Services, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.
3. Independent Contractors
Notaries, online notaries, mobile notaries, fingerprint technicians, translators, apostille facilitators, and other service providers dispatched through Public Oath are independent contractors, not employees, partners, or agents of Public Oath.
We do not control the manner in which independent contractors perform their services. Public Oath is not responsible for:

Errors or omissions by contractors

Timeliness or quality of work

Professional judgment exercised by contractors
All responsibility for accuracy, completeness, and compliance lies with the contractor and the client.
4. No Legal Advice
Any information provided through our website, customer support, documents, emails, or communications is for general informational purposes only. Nothing provided by Public Oath:

Fees for Services must be paid before work begins unless otherwise stated in writing. All fees are non-refundable once the service has started, including:

Shipping costs
Chargebacks or fraudulent disputes may result in suspension of access to the Services.
7. Apostille and Processing Times
Processing timelines for apostille or other government-issued documents are estimates only. Public Oath is not responsible for:

Government delays

Government closures
-
Mailing or courier delays
-
Errors caused by third-party agencies
Your timeline is not guaranteed.
8. Document Handling and Shipping
Public Oath may coordinate shipping through third-party carriers, including USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL.
We are not responsible for:

Lost, delayed, or damaged packages

Carrier errors
-
Incorrect addresses provided by the client
Risk of loss transfers to the customer upon delivery to the carrier.
9. Prohibited Use
You agree not to:

Use the platform for fraudulent, illegal, or deceptive purposes

Interfere with the website’s operation

Attempt to access systems without authorization

Reverse-engineer or copy site materials
Violation may result in termination of access and potential legal action.
