RON Studio Kit

The desk setup for remote online notarization. A RON session lives or dies on two things: whether the signer can hear you clearly, and whether the connection holds. Everything here serves one of those.

What's in the kit

• Laptop Privacy Filter — narrows the viewing cone to about 60 degrees, so signer PII isn't readable from the side in a shared space
• Bluetooth Headset — fixed mic distance and audio in your ear; signers lose confidence when they have to ask you to repeat yourself
• 1080P Webcam — credential analysis needs resolution a built-in laptop camera cannot give
• USB to Ethernet Adapter — a dropped connection can void a notarization; this takes the session off Wi-Fi
• Wool Felt Desk Mat — clean, deliberate desk surface where the camera catches it
• Adjustable Document and Tablet Stand — holds an ID or a reference document upright and steady while you read it on camera, instead of holding it in one hand
