Process Server Starter Kit

The five things a process server carries on every route, for $99 — to stay safe at the door, look official, and record the details that hold up if service is contested.

What's in the kit

• Storage Clipboard with Enclosed Compartment (black) — a writing surface on top, with served papers and blanks out of sight underneath
• Sliding ID Badge Holder — keeps your license visible at the door, which settles most "who are you?" conversations
• Tactical LED Flashlight with Magnetic Base — reads unlit house numbers and apartment placards on night serves
• Rechargeable Personal Safety Alarm, 130 dB — one pull sets off a 130 dB siren if a serve turns hostile
• All-Weather Pocket Notebook (2 pack) — notes for your affidavit, written in rain or snow on pages that will not run

Bought separately: $117. As a kit: $99.

Recording-consent rules vary by state. New York and New Jersey are one-party states; check yours before recording audio of anyone other than yourself.
