Field Inspector Kit

The field kit for property, mortgage and draw inspections. Six items for getting in the door, working safely on site, and putting real numbers in the report.

What's in the kit

• Laser Distance Meter, 100 ft — room and lot measurement to plus or minus 1/16 in, alone, with area and volume modes for square footage
• Non-Contact Voltage Tester Pen — confirms whether power is live, a quick utilities and occupancy check, and whether a circuit is dead before you go near it
• Rechargeable LED Headlamp — crawlspaces, basements and attics, hands free for the meter and the camera
• Sliding ID Badge Holder — homeowners and site supervisors open the door faster to visible credentials
• High-Visibility Safety Vest, Orange, with Pockets — expected on active job sites, with an ID window and pockets for pens and the meter
• Socket Tester with RCD and GFCI Test — reversed polarity, missing ground, and a GFCI that doesn't trip are three of the commonest residential findings

Bought separately: $185. As a kit: $148.
